The Komondor is an ancient breed that originated in Hungry. They are used mainly for guarding livestock and/or buildings. Komondorok come only in white and their coats are corded. Males stand 27½ at the withers and females 25½ at the withers. They weigh 100 lbs and 80 lbs respectably. The Komondor is loyal to his master but can be fiercely protective of any thing that is 'his.'
